We currently are using Hex-Huts at the Albian Sands Shell mine, for our welding applications. I highly recommend using these "Engineered Structures". They are a great solution to our harsh climates. Keeping our labour force warm and out of the elements,is essential to our safety and elevated production quota. Also Pam is fantastic in the renting, buying process, and with continued customer support after the client has been using the product for any duration,She makes the process smooth and uncomplicated. - North American Construction Group

We used a dozen or so Hex-Hut Shelters on a project at Kirby Lake over a period of about 6 months. The welders and preheat crews were very happy to have them on site to keep welds and heat in ideal enclosures. Everyone was pleased with how these tents worked out and I would use them again on my next project. These systems are better than what we were using before - Strike Group

Parkland Pipeline Contractors have used the Hex Hut product now over the past 4 winters with great ease and success. The product provides us with the capabilities to weld and coat in tight areas under less than favorable conditions. Our crew(s) have commented on the ease of handling, set up, and dismantling. I have been using Hex-Hut Shelter Systems on my projects for the last 4-5 years with great success. I am very impressed with how quickly they can be deployed and how safe they are to use. The use of these systems helped to significantly reduce costs with regard to skilled labor specifically scaffold, the scaffold crews were able to concentrate on the decking and the Hex-Hut’s took care of the hoarding because everyone is qualified to set up a Hex-Hut and because it is so simple. The units are lightweight and very simple to set up. There were no issues keeping ahead of the welding crews even in the muskeg and on uneven ground. The ability of the systems to ventilate out the welding fumes, protect the people and the welding process from the elements is very impressive. For sheltering above ground pipeline construction there is nothing else that comes close to Hex- Hut. The systems lower risk, improve productivity, ensure quality and all of that helps to lower cost overall. - Flint Energy Services Ltd. - Devon Jackfish 2 Above Ground Pipeline

Hex-Hut improves crew efficiency, welding wait times and weld quality. In regard to safety, there is nothing better for welder/helper access and egress. The tents are large, soft, light and extremely forgiving for mobility while inside them. Ventilation is still maintained while draft is reduced to nearly zero. There is no compromise when it comes to our crew’s safety and this product has helped our business maintain a TRIF of ZERO. Wind, moisture and consistent preheat temperatures all affect weld quality and are key factors within the welding process utilized in the fabrication and construction of high pressure/temperature steam lines. These tents mitigate risk and ensure having a minimum of failed welds. As well, the tents are easily moved from weld to weld with very little moving parts. They are durable and can be used for years without maintenance or repair under proper usage. These are facts that can be assigned a monetary figure in regards to time saved and money well spent. Efficiency is the motive.

On all of Revcon’s future projects there will be no substitution for Hex-Huts. This is a product designed and engineered by experienced trades people, supported by excellent and accurate service and promoted by good people who make a difference within our business. This is a product we use to maintain “the leading quality contractor” status is such a competitive industry. We use what works, and these tents do! - Revcon Oilfield Constructors Ltd. – StatOil Hydro Leismer Project

While consulting on a series of fabrication, modularization, and SAGD projects in the Alberta Region, I brought in Hex-Huts for my crews. We found the set-up quick and easy, and the structural integrity of this product held up consistently as we worked steadily through windy and wet conditions. The time savings along resulted in our ability to stay on, or ahead of schedule, which ultimately lowered cost for our clients. I’ll recommend Hex-Hut on any future construction jobs where hoarding solutions are required. - Consultant - Fabrication, Modularization & SAGD Projects
